About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Officer to join our team at Publica Group Ltd. As a Senior Officer in the Environmental Regulatory Sector, you will be responsible for managing and executing statutory duties related to private sector housing, caravan and campsite licensing, and public health.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Conducting inspections and investigations
  • Addressing public health concerns and providing technical expertise
  • Leading on investigations and appearing in court and tribunal as necessary

You will work closely with our team to provide high-quality services to our customers and stakeholders. If you have a strong understanding of housing standards, public health principles, and environmental regulations, and excellent leadership and communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health or a related field
  • Experience in environmental regulation, housing standards, or public health
  • Comprehensive knowledge of housing regulations, public health laws, and environmental standards
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
