Job Overview

Cambridge Consultants is a leading consulting firm that provides innovative solutions to its clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in network design, implementation, and support, as well as experience in implementing Linux distributions. They will also have expertise in automating desktop deployments and life-cycle management using tools such as Ubuntu Landscape, Foreman/RHEL, Satellite, and Ansible.

In this role, you will work closely with our team to design, implement, and maintain our infrastructure. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with Cyber Essentials controls and supporting Linux based software licensing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting physical and virtualised Linux operating systems within an Enterprise environment
  2. Network design, implementation, maintenance and support
  3. Developing scripts to automate system configuration and processes where appropriate (Infrastructure as code)
  4. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant infrastructure technology
  5. Investigating security incidents as required

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
