Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective processes for reviewing junior team members' work, maintaining high quality standards.
  • Plan, manage, execute, and take full responsibility for non-statutory audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Provide tax compliance and personal tax preparation services for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare management accounts and VAT for clients, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
  • Respond to tax and VAT queries from clients, providing clear and concise guidance.
  • Collaborate with the accounts and audit managers and partners to drive business growth and improve service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with auditing and accounting standards and developments within the profession, complying with CPD requirements.
  • Foster a positive team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a culture of excellence.

The firm provides a competitive salary of £35k-£40k, along with comprehensive study support and a flexible working arrangement (1 day work from home per week).
