Environmental Health Specialist

CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a skilled Environmental Health Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that privately rented properties meet the required standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys of privately rented properties to identify potential health and safety hazards.
- Utilize your expert knowledge of Housing Act and other relevant legislation to specify the most appropriate enforcement action to secure compliance with legal requirements.
- Manage a mixed caseload of reactive service requests, planned licensing verification and monitoring activities, unlicensed and rogue landlord investigations.
- Establish good working relationships with tenants, landlords, builders, managing agents, lawyers as well as other council officers to achieve the best outcomes for private renters.
