About the Role

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Intervention Specialist to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced practitioner to work with adults in a mental health crisis, providing recovery-focused interventions.

The successful candidate will be confident in assessing risk management, care planning, and the appropriateness of home treatment team interventions. They will work autonomously in the community, completing full mental health assessments, managing risk, and contributing to the multidisciplinary team.

This is a diverse and challenging role that requires specialist skills and knowledge of mental health legislation and guidance. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a multidisciplinary team and possess strong leadership and supervisory skills.

The estimated salary for this position is £38,890 - £44,503 per annum.

  • To provide intensive home treatment in service users' home/community settings.
  • To identify the need for protection in line with safeguarding children and the Protection of Vulnerable Adult Policy and to comply with statutory obligations.
  • To evaluate systematically and record outcomes of mental health assessments, adapting care on the basis of these outcomes.
  • To involve family and carers in the assessment and care planning with service users' consent.
  • To provide education and appropriate self-help resources to patients and carers specific to individual needs.
