We are seeking an experienced Development Planning Coordinator to join our team at Dumfries and Galloway Council.

Job Description

This fixed-term, part-time role will support the Development Planning team in preparing the next Local Development Plan for the region. Key responsibilities include site assessment and policy development.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Planning, Geography, Law, or a comparable discipline
  • Full or student membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
  • Good understanding of the planning system in Scotland
  • Previous experience in development plan and Local Development Plan examination

Salary and Working Hours
