Programme Manager Role Summary

Position: Programme Manager (Senior Leadership)

Reporting Line: Programme Director (with responsibilities for deputizing)

Work Locations: Various locations with frequent travel requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

  • Oversee and guide delivery teams and personnel.
  • Provide strategic direction, counsel, and mentorship on programme management.
  • Exemplify leadership, driving outcomes and fostering a positive culture.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective performance management while promoting Diversity and Inclusion.
  • Enhance team capabilities through comprehensive development plans.
  • Guarantee adherence to mandatory training and Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

  • Support and act on behalf of the Programme Director.
  • Recruit and manage team members.

Programme Management:

  • Track programme progress, clarify objectives, and synchronize activities.
  • Address challenges and enhance delivery performance.
  • Report on programme metrics (time, cost, quality, safety).
  • Contribute to approvals, budget planning, and financial cycles.
  • Provide strategic insights and support to the Programme Director.
  • Ensure effective utilization of programme management methodologies and tools.
  • Develop and assess business cases and benefit realization strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Required: HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering field.
