Specialty Doctor in Intellectual Disability Psychiatry

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in North and Mid Devon. As a Specialty Doctor in Intellectual Disability Psychiatry, you will provide psychiatric services to adults with Intellectual Disabilities under the care of the community-based North and Mid Devon Intensive Assessment and Treatment Team (IATT).

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your special interest and psychiatry practice in a vibrant and respected mental health and learning disability trust. You will work closely with other health and social professionals and agencies to provide high-quality services that are safe and focused on people's recovery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric services to adults with Intellectual Disabilities under the care of the IATT.
  • Work collaboratively with other health and social professionals and agencies to provide high-quality services.
  • Develop your special interest and psychiatry practice in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Requirements
  • Has completed at least four years full-time postgraduate training or equivalent experience.
  • Experience at SHO level or above in intellectual Disability Psychiatry.

  • Meets professional health requirements.
