Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to focus on European Roadfreight and Customs for our international Freight and Logistics provider.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop core services for the company, including fieldwork and identifying potential new clients.
- Work closely with existing customers and colleagues to strengthen relationships.
- Initiate sales activities, focusing on European road transport and customs.
- Develop business relationships with existing and new customer base.
- Identify sales leads and develop core services.
- Prepare, deliver, and follow up quotations and leads.
- Record, report, and analyze outcomes.
- Have a strong understanding of freight forwarding, particularly road freight and customs.
- A knowledge of Ocean and Airfreight would be an advantage.
- At least 2 years proven business development experience in freight forwarding background.
- Connections within the industry.
- A full-time, permanent role, working 9am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
- An attractive package with a basic salary in the region of £40 to £50k, plus yearly sales bonus.

- 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays).
