Job Title: Paediatric Physiotherapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at Cromwell Hospital. As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children aged from birth up to 18 years of age.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in discharge planning and liaise with external agencies to ensure a safe and supportive discharge for patients.
  • Comply with confidentiality policies and respect patients' rights to be chaperoned.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient treatment records and reports.
  • Manage clinical risk within your caseload and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Promote dignity, privacy, and safety for patients, considering their cultural, spiritual, and personal needs.
  • Seek support when necessary and maintain best clinical practice.
  • Recommend and provide therapy equipment within your scope.
  • Participate in departmental training programs and share knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC Registration
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Proven experience in neurodevelopment and neurology, paediatric MSK, and orthopaedics
  • Knowledge of paediatric outcome measures and standardised assessments
  • Knowledge of specialist equipment for paediatric physiotherapy
