Job Title: Paediatric Physiotherapist

Location: Cromwell Hospital, Kensington, SW5 0TU

Job Type: Part-time, 2 days (15 hours/week)

Rate: £30 p/h

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at Cromwell Hospital. As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children aged from birth up to 18 years of age.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in discharge planning and liaise with external agencies to ensure a safe and supportive discharge for patients.
  • Comply with confidentiality policies and respect patients' rights to be chaperoned.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient treatment records and reports.
  • Manage clinical risk within your caseload and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Provide dignity, privacy, and safety for patients, considering their cultural, spiritual, and personal needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence within your specialty and maintain best clinical practice.
  • Participate in departmental in-service training and share knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC Registration
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Proven experience in paediatric neurology and neurodevelopmental conditions
  • Knowledge of paediatric outcome measures and standardised assessments
  • Knowledge of specialist equipment appropriate to paediatric physiotherapy
