London, Greater London, United Kingdom Advance TRS Full time
Ecological Project Manager

As the principal Ecological Project Manager, you will oversee all ecological aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are achieved on time, within budget, and in compliance with ecological standards.

This role requires travel throughout the UK and possibly to other European countries. You will interface with related disciplines and others across the business to deliver ecological assessments from project inception through to project completion.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather input, ensure project accuracy, and allocate resources effectively. You will also identify potential risks and uncertainties and assist in developing mitigation strategies, schedules, and contingency plans.

This is an excellent opportunity to play an influential role in establishing, expanding, and developing the broader Ecology team and its capabilities within the business.

You will gain exposure to an exciting range of projects, dealing with a variety of flora and fauna across multiple disciplines. You will be supported by the team to blend your passion for the natural environment with your innovative management skills.

A degree in ecology, along with a higher degree in a related field, is of interest. You will also need to be willing and able to obtain security clearance due to the nature of the sectors we operate in, and our client requirements.

Experience in Bio-Diversity net gain, managing complex projects, and delivering Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs), Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessments, Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs), and Ecology Chapters for Environmental Statements is essential.

Proven experience in business development and client relationship management with the ability to generate ongoing workstreams with existing clients is also required.
