Ecology Team Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ecology Team Manager to join our dynamic team at Ramboll. As a key member of our Ecosystems Solutions department, you will be responsible for managing a team of ecologists and overseeing a range of projects spanning multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects, including ecology input to large-scale projects, and ensure timely delivery and budget management.
- Deliver technical work on complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Develop and implement business strategies, including fee proposal preparation and client relationship management.
- Lead and mentor an ecology team, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Supervise and manage sub-consultants, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Liaise with ecological regulators and planning authorities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CEnv or CEcol desirable).
- Protected species license(s), with experience in European Protected Species Mitigation License(s) and Low Impact Class Licenses.
- Appropriate BSc or equivalent qualification, with an MSc in a relevant environmental discipline desirable.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise deliverables.
- Proficient user of MS Office software and full clean UK driving license.
