Accounts Administrator Role

BROOK STREET IS PROUD TO REPRESENT A LEADING COMPANY IN THE DIGITAL PRINTING INDUSTRY SEEKING AN ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and are eager to contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations in Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Purchase Ledger Maintenance: Assist in accurately maintaining the computerised Purchase and Sales Ledgers.
  • Credit Control Duties: Undertake credit control responsibilities, ensuring correct allocation to customer and supplier accounts.
  • Customer Refund Administration: Manage customer refunds effectively.
  • Financial Reporting: Help produce monthly management and financial reports.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: 5 GCSEs or equivalent at pass level including Maths and English.
  • Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced finance team and a minimum of 2 years' experience in administration.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Accounting Studies: Studying towards an Accounting Qualification or part-time qualified Accountant.
  • Payroll Processing Experience: Experience with end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Opera accounts system or Accura MIS.
Essential Skills:
  • High Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate records within the Finance Team.
  • Organisational Skills: Manage personal workload effectively while meeting team and project deadlines.
  • Teamwork and Cooperation: Be flexible, cooperative, and willing to work extra hours as required to meet customer needs.
