Surrey Wheelchair Technician

As a Field Service Engineer at Equals One Ltd, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goal of providing exceptional service to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver and collect wheelchairs to and from service users' homes and NHS departments, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care and support.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a full UK driving licence, a successful enhanced DBS check, and general workshop knowledge. Basic electrical knowledge, including 12v/24v D.C. systems, is also essential. You should be able to move and handle loads and equipment safely and have experience of face-to-face customer contact.
In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often working independently and making decisions quickly. You will be required to repair and service equipment to the agreed standard, perform P.D.I. chairs for delivery by M.S.E., and maintain a professional customer service attitude at all times.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Delivering and collecting wheelchairs to and from service users' homes and NHS departments.
- Servicing and repairing wheelchairs in the field with the aim of achieving a first-time fix whenever possible.
- Ensuring all paperwork relating to each job is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Using personal protective equipment (PPE) as instructed and maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
