About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable individual to lead our Safeguarding Team. As a Safeguarding Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that all staff are trained and aware of safeguarding issues and processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies within the Safeguarding Team
  • Ensure the integrity of the Risk Register, CQC Key Lines of Enquiry, and legislative requirements
  • Work in partnership with executive leadership, operational teams, and external stakeholders to ensure safeguarding arrangements are in place
  • Lead the development, coordination, and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures

Requirements
  • Masters Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Relevant clinical qualification or social work qualification
  • Experience of managing safeguarding cases and knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Knowledge of NHS systems and processes, including Datix
