Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Media Professional to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Broadcast Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of broadcast equipment and technology.

The role involves working alongside journalists and programme makers to ensure that all technical aspects of production are running smoothly. This includes camera operations, floor management, TV vision mixing, sound operations, technical directing, and picture and audio editing.

You will gain experience in various roles such as a Multi-Skilled Technical Operator, Camera Operator, Sound Engineer, Studio Director, Graphics Assistant, Lighting Assistant, or Floor Manager.

As a key member of our team, you will be expected to work calmly under pressure and have brilliant organisational skills and problem-solving abilities. You should also be enthusiastic, flexible, and adaptable to out-of-hours working.

To be eligible for this role, you must be aged 18 or over, have lived in the UK or European Economic Area for a minimum of 3 years, and be eligible to work in the UK full time for the duration of the apprenticeship contract.
