As a Broadcast Technical Operator Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to the creation of world-class content and operational excellence. This 24-month fixed-term contract offers a chance to gain valuable skills and knowledge while developing your career in the media sector.
Responsibilities may include camera operations, floor management, TV vision mixing, sound operations, technical directing, and multi-skilled operator roles. You will also study for an industry-recognized qualification through blocks of teaching at the National Film and Television School.
The ideal candidate is passionate about media content and its production process, able to work calmly under pressure, fascinated by technical aspects, and possesses excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities. Non-graduates are encouraged to apply, with preferences given to those aged 18 or over, having lived in the UK or EEA for at least 3 years, and eligible to work full-time in the UK during the contract period.
