**Job Description**: As a technical operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of broadcast equipment and technology. You will work alongside journalists and programme makers to deliver world-class content to our audiences.

The successful candidate will have a passion for media content and the technical production side of how that content reaches the audience. You will be able to work calmly under pressure, be fascinated by how things work, have brilliant organisational skills and be great at problem-solving. You will also be an enthusiastic self-starter, flexible, and adaptable to out-of-hours working.

**Requirements**: To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must be aged 18 or over when the apprenticeship starts, have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for a minimum of 3 years, be eligible to work in the UK full-time for the duration of the apprenticeship contract, and not currently taking part in an apprenticeship scheme supported by the BBC or another organization.
