ITV Anglia is looking for an experienced Broadcast Journalist to join our dynamic newsroom in Norwich.
We offer a permanent, part-time position (usual working pattern: Monday to Wednesday) with a competitive salary of £35,219 - £47,393 per annum.
As a Broadcast Journalist, you will play a vital role in shaping the look and feel of our news service, both on-air and online. You will be responsible for writing scripts, editing content, making emergency checks, setting up stories, curating our website, creating social media content, and presenting stories in an engaging and informative way to our early morning viewers.
You may also have the opportunity to present our lunchtime bulletins and contribute to production and planning meetings.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong track record in journalism, excellent live presentation skills, and a thorough knowledge of media law and the Ofcom code. You should also be able to build online audiences and lead a team effectively.
In addition, you will need to understand the importance of Diversity and Inclusion and be able to reflect and engage with the views and aspirations of all communities.
We operate in 11 main news production centres across England, Northern Ireland, Wales, and the Channel Islands, and we are committed to delivering high-quality and trustworthy television and online coverage that regularly attracts audiences in excess of 3.5 million viewers.
