Job Overview
A challenging opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client, a world leader in threat detection and security products. The role involves the development of high-quality, high-demand products sold into a regulated environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Working with R&D and Manufacturing teams to sustain existing manufacturing activities and introduce new capabilities for existing and new products.
  • Fault finding and diagnostics, with extensive experience in troubleshooting at the component level for electronic products.
  • Supporting existing manufacturing by responding to electronics-related problems and improving the test environment.
  • Collaborating with external suppliers.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Proven fault-finding experience with diagnosis and troubleshooting down to the component level.
  • Experience with mixed signal board designs integrating power supplies, both low and high voltage.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and simulation tools.
  • Familiarity with electronics manufacturing methods.
  • An Electronic Engineering Degree or HNC (or equivalent) with provable design experience.
