About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Field Team Manager to lead and energize our Quick Service Restaurant and Retail field teams within Intertek. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading audit teams, understanding auditing best practices, driving improvements, implementing and maintaining processes, and continually improving a range of audit schemes with leading global clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the QSR/Retail auditing team, ensuring high-quality audits are conducted on time and to a high standard of execution and calibration.
  • Maintain effective communication with client-facing teams, including KAM, scheduling, and QSR/Retail auditors.
  • Attend regular meetings with client-facing teams to discuss individual auditor performance, client KPIs, and overall team performance.
  • Analyze individual auditor performance and provide coaching and feedback to ensure client KPIs are met, maintained, and exceeded.
  • Investigate and document any complaints or issues related to QSR/Retail auditors.
  • Ensure the Intertek 10X journey is in place for all QSR/Retail auditors, Team Leaders, and Lead Auditors, aligning key annual milestones.
  • Ensure all expenses and auditing times are accurately recorded and approved in Intertek systems.
  • Support recruitment and retention efforts within the QSR/Retail team, working closely with senior business line leaders and Intertek HR.
  • Cover team absences when required, working with Team Leaders or Lead Auditors.
  • Collate, document, and conduct training on H&S and risk assessments for QSR/Retail auditors.
  • Collate, document, and conduct training for individual client accounts, aligned with KAM, Lead Auditors, and other stakeholders.
  • Audit and Lead Auditor Support, as required.
  • Support the business assurance directors, as needed.
  • Align and shape the QSR/Retail strategy within the business line to retain and gain new business, working closely with operations and technical directors.
