Mental Health Support Specialist

A dynamic and supportive role has become available at a thriving Primary School in the London Borough of Lambeth, graded 'Outstanding' in their latest Ofsted report. The successful candidate will work closely with the SEND, Pastoral, and Safeguarding teams to address the additional needs of students and reduce barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor students with Special Educational Needs, Social Emotional Mental Health, and Safeguarding requirements.
- Develop strong relationships with pupils, including those on Work Experience Placements, in the Learning Skills Centre, and through College Links.
- Plan and deliver group sessions and 1:1 support addressing the diverse needs of students.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual with a keen interest in Mental Health, Therapy, and Education. As a graduate with a passion for making a difference, you will inspire and motivate pupils to reach their full potential.
Requirements- A degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Education, or a related subject.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
- Experience working with children and young people, preferably in an educational setting.
