Job Purpose

The principle function of this role is to provide education, training, and technical support across our product range, in line with supporting developers, contractors, and key accounts. Contributing towards the sales growth of our products across our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out product site trials to secure new business and audit existing sites to verify rebate claims.
  • Provide project site support and knowledge across all ranges to maintain and grow sales across our brands.
  • Visit and maintain regular contact with our specified sites on a 6-8 week rota where required.
  • Assist the quality department and sales regions by investigating technical complaints linked to our product portfolio.
  • Assist and support installers to ensure technical guidelines and best practices are being followed during installation of our products.
  • To assist in the division's strategy of creating demand for our product brands, by identifying new sites and developments.
  • To attend exhibitions, seminars, and trade counter mornings, supporting our independent and national retail accounts.
  • To maintain an up-to-date SFDC system, logging customer activity, customer accounts, and managing cases through our customer record system.
  • To attend technical and sales meetings.
  • To be at all times well-presented and conduct oneself in a professional manner.
  • Achievement of objectives agreed with line manager on a quarterly basis.
  • To nurture and develop a pipeline of business through effective project management across our brands.
  • To obtain and identify new business opportunities where possible through interaction with new installers and new sites.
  • To support our marketing team with projects such as creating product-specific case studies by providing pictures and narrative that showcase installations of our products.
  • To provide training across the business on our full product range offering.
  • To support the new product development team with the launch of new products, providing innovative new product ideas that could further enhance our product range.
  • To ensure regular contact across the plumbing and heating sales team with regards to new demand targets and site support, assisting our area sales manager/specification teams with what support they require.
  • Carry out toolbox talks and training sessions within colleges.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating.
  • Domestic and commercial experience desired.
