Job Summary:

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join their team. As an EV Charging Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electric vehicle charging points in domestic and commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission electric vehicle charging points in accordance with industry standards and company procedures.
  • Diagnose and repair existing installed EV charging points, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and testing on EV charging circuits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified electrician with ECS Gold Card (or equivalent) and NVQ level 3 in an electrical installation discipline.
  • 18th edition and AM2 certification.
  • Experience installing EV chargers and a strong understanding of electrical systems.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel within a 60-minute radius.
  • Located in or commutable to Cornwall area (Launceston, Bodmin, St Austell, Newquay).
