Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of applicants to determine their eligibility for housing assistance
  • Use innovative approaches to determine if an applicant is eligible, homeless, or threatened with homelessness within a 56-day timeframe
  • Manage your own performance and contribute to the development of the service
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives and performance targets
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the Housing Act 1996 Part 7 (as amended) and the Homeless Reduction Act 2017
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and able to manage a varied workload
