About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team in Ipswich, Suffolk. As a key member of our store leadership team, you'll play a vital role in driving store performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team
  • Drive sales growth and improve store profitability through effective inventory management and visual merchandising
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement store strategies and action plans
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor, inventory, and utilities
  • Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
