About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Vocational Liaison Worker to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users to develop their independent living skills and achieve their vocational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate and establish community volunteer opportunities to help service users develop their skills and build relationships with local organisations.
  • Develop and implement creative and productive job roles to support patients in developing their skills for independent living.
  • Work collaboratively with the activities team to provide activities through the Hospital Café and support service users to develop their skills through regular supervision.
  • Deliver creative workshops to illustrate the benefits of daily occupations and co-ordinate work-related therapeutic activities, including CV writing sessions, mock interview scenarios and job fairs.
  • Co-ordinate and lead on interviewing service users for roles within the hospital and voluntary roles within the community.

Requirements

  • A full UK Driving License
  • Experience of working with people with Mental Health Problems, Learning Disability or ASD
  • Familiarity with local community organisations
