Operating Theatre Specialist Opportunity at London Bridge Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Theatre Specialist to join our theatre team at London Bridge Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in the operating theatre setting and be able to demonstrate exceptional knowledge and skills in supporting individuals and teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to work with our multidisciplinary team to provide high standards of care to patients. As an Operating Theatre Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting theatre staff to deliver effective patient care, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available, and maintaining accurate records of patient information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support theatre staff to prepare for surgeries, including setting up equipment and supplies
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and treatment plans
  • Assist with the transportation of patients to and from the operating theatre
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A minimum of 2 years' experience working in the operating theatre settingCurrent HCPC/NMC registrationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentBenefits
