Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced social care professional to join our Adult Mental Health Team as a Qualified Social Worker. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mental health assessments, working closely with service users, and contributing to the team's efforts to ensure their safety and well-being.

This is a 3-month temporary contract, offering a negotiable hourly rate based on experience and pay scheme selected.

About the Role

  1. Must be an Approved Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act.
  2. Experience of covering duty, multi-disciplinary work, and good knowledge of mental health problems/symptoms/treatments.
  3. Direct work with service users who suffer from mental health illnesses.
  4. Carry out Mental Health Act assessments in the borough and occasionally outside of it.
  5. Secondary Care/Community Care and Discharges.

The ideal candidate will hold a DipSW or equivalent, be registered with the HCPC, have a current CRB, and be a car driver.
