Mental Health Team Member

Entrust Social Care Ltd is seeking a qualified social worker to join their Adult Mental Health Team in Stockport. As a key member of the team, you will be working with vulnerable adults under close supervision and collaboration with a supportive Team Manager.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team and hold a DipSW or equivalent registration with the HCPC. Additionally, they must be an Approved Mental Health Professional under the Mental Health Act and possess good knowledge of mental health problems/symptoms/treatments.

You will be responsible for carrying out Mental Health Act assessments, direct work with service users, and secondary care/community care and discharges. The role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of mental health laws, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This is a 3-month temporary contract with a negotiable salary dependent on experience and pay scheme selected, estimated around £25-£35 per hour based on industry standards.
