Social Care Specialist

Randstad is seeking a qualified Adult Mental Health Professional to join Stockport Council's Older Adult Mental Health team.
This role involves fostering positive outcomes for adults, particularly those with Mental Health concerns.
Main responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of adult clients
- Conducting assessments and developing Care and Support plans
- Enhancing the quality of life for Service Users, Carers, and Families using proven Social Work methodologies
- Maintaining professional development and adhering to Social Work best practices
- Promoting equality and diversity within the workplace and service delivery
- Adhering to Council policies and procedures, including those related to customer care and health and safety
- Staying informed about new developments, legislation, and guidelines in the field
- Fulfilling any additional duties as required for the role
Requirements for this position include:
- A Social Work Degree
- Registration with Social Work England
- Enhanced DBS clearance
Experience in working with adults is essential for this role.
