Caring Professional Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caring Professional to join our team at Pennine Care NHS FT. As a valued member of our community, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals experiencing mental health problems.

As a Caring Professional, your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support and guidance to service users, empowering them to achieve their full potential and live fulfilling lives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional support and guidance to service users and their families
• Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each service user's needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
• Promote self-advocacy and empowerment among service users
• Participate in on-call rotas as required

Requirements:

• Good standard of general education including good numeracy and literacy skills
• Evidence of recent further development or training
• NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Experience working with individuals with mental health needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work unsupervised in a range of settings
• Basic IT skills

Salary: £24,445 - £27,593 per annum (dependent on experience)
