About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Behaviour and Learning Support Assistant to join our team at The Rowans Primary Provision.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to supporting all pupils, particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

As a Behaviour and Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with our teaching staff to provide tailored support to pupils, promoting positive behaviour choices and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised support to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Support pupils in developing emotional regulation and resilience skills
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

  • Level 2 qualification in Maths and English
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting pupils with SEMH needs
