We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at Academics Ltd as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates with a Psychology or Criminology background to gain valuable experience working with children with complex learning disabilities, Autism, and Learning Disabilities.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be part of a supportive team that provides consistent and ongoing support to students with special needs. This role offers a unique chance to work alongside therapists, counsellors, and psychologists based on-site at the school. You will have the opportunity to develop great experience working with children with Special Needs and Mental Health issues, making this an ideal position for aspiring educational or occupational psychologists, therapeutic support workers, or SEN teachers.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. Salary: £85-£100 per day

About the Role: The primary school is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant who can provide individualized support to students with complex needs, including Autism and Learning Disabilities. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with SEN children and adults, be open-minded, and up for a challenge.

Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one support to students with complex needs, assist with lesson planning and delivery, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Relevant degree in Psychology or Criminology, experience working with SEN children and adults, excellent communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
