Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor

Location: Canterbury

Salary: £52,000 Plus Bonus

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm, no Saturdays

Octane Recruitment Careers is currently recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor for our client's reputable site. We have new opportunities for our clients site based in the Canterbury area. Estimator Role:

As a Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be working closely with clients and customers to inspect damage on vehicles and assess what work would be required, time scales and cost for any work completed.

- Estimating damage and inputting all workflow onto the systems (Systems include Audatex)

- Looking at the most cost-effective repair method

- Be able to explain why you believe the work is required and liaise with customers and insurance companies in a professional manner

- Reviewing ongoing jobs and identifying issues

- Working closely with any warranty or an insurance paperwork

Requirements:

- Must have at least 1 years' experience as a bodyshop Estimator

- Ideally you will have the ATA VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessor) Estimator accreditation though this isn't essential as we will consider candidates with time served experience

- Professional and courteous communication skills
