Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor

Location: Canterbury

Salary: £52,000 Plus Bonus

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm, no Saturdays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor for our client's reputable site. Our client is offering excellent working conditions, brand new equipment, and a company that prides itself on quality and very good money / company benefits.

Estimator Role:
  • Inspecting damage on vehicles to assess what work would be required, time scales, and cost for any work completed.
  • Estimating damage and inputting all workflow onto the systems (Systems include Audatex).
  • Looking at the most cost-effective repair method.
  • Explaining why you believe the work is required and liaising with customers and insurance companies in a professional manner.
  • Reviewing ongoing jobs and identifying issues.
Requirements:
  • Must have at least 1 year's experience as a bodyshop Estimator.
  • Ideally you will have the ATA VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessor) Estimator accreditation though this isn't essential as we will consider candidates with time served experience.
  • Professional and confident character who is able to deliver a strong customer service.
