About the Role

This is a full-time position reporting directly into the General Manager and our Sales and Retention Managers are responsible for supporting them and the wider team in the successful operation of the gym, with a specific responsibility for driving new member sales, maximising retention & overall growth of the live member movement through various strategies inside and outside of the gym.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness and wellness
  • Demonstrate our elevated ways of working always, embodying the company's values and principles
  • Advocate for our sales process, leading by example in this area and supporting, and training the wider team to improve confidence and performance
  • Drive new member sales and retain existing members to grow live member movement, leveraging business development strategies and tactics
  • Owning the activity planners for the gym and ensuring they are thorough, well planned and executed, aligning with the company's business objectives
  • Implement strategies to increase lead generation both internally and externally, leveraging marketing and sales channels
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards, communicating key insights to the wider team and driving business growth
  • Drive all revenue lines from membership sales to product and secondary sales, to drive profitability of the gym
  • Prepare and deliver monthly sales presentations to wider management team, highlighting business performance and growth opportunities
  • Build key relationships with local businesses to evolve local partnerships and drive business growth
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue, including the #WeMoveBusinesses membership opportunities
  • Lead by example on reception and the gym floor in this member-facing role, designed to enhance every visit and drive business growth
  • Buy-in to national focuses and incentives, such as #WorkoutWednesday and #WeCommunicate, and drive business growth through these initiatives
  • Deliver honest, constructive feedback regularly to support all team members in achieving their potential and challenging them on a daily basis

  • Flexibility in working hours and location to support the needs of the business, including weekends and Bank Holidays when required
