We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Care UK. As a Lead Carer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our residents and supporting the care team to achieve their goals. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising shifts, case managing residents, and developing services.
Job Description:In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising shifts to ensure high-quality care is delivered to residents. You will also be responsible for case managing residents and liaising with families and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support. Additionally, you will be responsible for administering and recording medication accurately and safely, conducting risk assessments to identify potential threats, and working with care assistants to support daily needs and promote independence.
Requirements:- NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate others.
- A good understanding of care planning processes and principles.
- Experience in or willingness to undertake training on administering medication.
