Type: Contract
Service Engineer RoleOur client, an established engineering company, is seeking an experienced Service and Maintenance Engineer to join their team, working across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on large CNC machinery across the UK, following up with systems testing post-maintenance.
- Provide technical support to customers where required.
- Assist other team members as needed, supporting maintenance and repair tasks.
- Qualified to a suitable level through an apprenticeship or other education.
- Maintenance Engineer, Field Engineer, Service Technician or Service Engineer with heavy engineering industry experience.
- Experience working with computer-controlled large machinery (CNC) is preferred.
- Ability to identify mechanical faults and carry out repairs.
- Understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Computer Controlled machine operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, working effectively as part of a team and dealing with client stakeholders.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC and NC control is desirable (Siemens).
- Premium mileage and overnight allowance rates.
- Long-term, ongoing contract.
