Job Type: ContractWe are seeking an experienced Service and Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team, working across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on large CNC machinery, providing technical support to customers, and assisting other team members as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out preventative maintenance on CNC machinery at various sites across the UK.
- Provide technical support to customers, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Assist other team members with maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
- Qualified to a suitable level through an apprenticeship or other education.
- Experience in maintenance engineering, field engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of computer-controlled machinery (CNC) and experience in identifying mechanical faults and carrying out repairs.
- Understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Computer Controlled machine operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and with client stakeholders.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC and NC control is desirable (Siemens).
- Premium mileage and overnight allowance rates.
- Long-term, ongoing contract.
