We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspection Specialist to join our team at Line Up Aviation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Certify products in line with our product certification procedure
  • Examine products for correct assembly and finish
  • Monitor product certification operators and ensure compliance with all associated procedures
  • Control defect items via segregation from good product
  • Raise and maintain relevant data records/defect reports
  • Produce relevant inspection/quality control documentation/history sheets
  • Care for and use specialized inspection tools
  • Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits

Requirements:

  • Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 or HNC level
  • Significant mechanical inspection experience required - specifically of other peoples work
  • Several years' experience as a skilled person
  • IPC 610 certified/trained preferred
