About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing new products, inspecting and refurbishing existing products, and maintaining workshop equipment. They will also have the opportunity to develop and optimize welding processes for various materials, including sheet metal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test a wide range of equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and product specifications.
  • Use various welding equipment, materials, and techniques to ensure company quality control standards.
  • Develop and optimize welding processes for various materials, including sheet metal.
  • Conduct tests to evaluate the strength and quality of welds.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of welding procedures and specifications.
  • Conduct quality inspections on products and parts and troubleshoot products where needed.
  • Assemble mechanical connectors and lifting tools.
  • Operate HPUs, including stripping down and reassembling hydraulic cylinders.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience within an industrial engineering environment with the ability to carry out engineering tasks to a high standard.
  • A current forklift license and Gantry crane certificates would be an advantage.
