Job Title: Area Sales Manager Window and Door Multi-Point Locking Systems

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a focus on window and door hardware.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Sales Manager to take ownership of the distribution network and drive revenue growth through new business development. You will inherit a customer base in need of development, with a target revenue of £1.5m-£2m.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling high-end manufactured ranges of multi-point locking systems for windows and doors to fabricators of composite, aluminium, PVC, composite fire doors, and timber fire doors. You will also be tasked with recruiting a minimum of three new commercial accounts per annum, each contributing a minimum of £50,000 at an acceptable margin.

You will work closely with architects, local authorities, M&E contractors, and main contractors to win specifications. Your expertise in technical regulations and legislation around internal timber fire door locking systems will be essential in this role.

The ideal applicant will be a seasoned Sales Manager with experience in the construction industry, specifically in window and door hardware field sales. They must have sold to fabricators of composite, aluminium, PVC, composite fire doors, or timber fire doors. Strong negotiation skills, a consultative approach, and a network of contacts within composite or timber door fabrications would be advantageous.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sell high-end manufactured ranges of multi-point locking systems for windows and doors to fabricators of composite, aluminium, PVC, composite fire doors, and timber fire doors.
  • Inherit a customer base in need of development and drive revenue growth through new business development.
  • Recruit a minimum of three new commercial accounts per annum, each contributing a minimum of £50,000 at an acceptable margin.

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 + £5,000-£10,000 Bonus
