About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to take on a clinical leadership role within our Cumbria Children's Speech and Language service. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and be able to provide visible leadership and development across the county.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an integrated children's therapy service and be able to demonstrate their ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from various disciplines. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to provide clear guidance and support to staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide clinical leadership and direction to the Cumbria Children's Speech and Language team.
  • To develop and implement strategies to improve speech and language services across the county.
  • To work closely with operational managers to provide clinical steer and insight to support operational and service decision-making.
Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • A strong track record of delivering high-quality care and providing effective leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
