Job Title: Food and Beverage Supervisor

At Four Points by Sheraton Edinburgh Haymarket, we are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage operations are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the highest standards of food and beverage service are maintained at all times.
  • Complete all relevant procedures in relation to the food and beverage department as laid down by the company.
  • Promote the desired work culture around our company values.
  • Deliver food and beverage service to a high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
  • Develop departmental standards and procedures to promote sales and beverage creativity and profit.
  • Communicate to your superior any difficulties, guest comments, and other relevant information.
  • Deliver daily briefings and attend other food and beverage meetings as scheduled.
  • Complete training sessions in line with a departmental monthly training calendar.
  • Carry out effective service by ensuring all staff are aware of their role.
  • Comply with hotel rules, regulations, and provisions contained in the Employee Handbook.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene, and Fire Life Safety.
Requirements:
  • Customer service experience.
  • 2 years previous experience within a similar role within a hotel environment.
  • Ability to supervise and direct a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Able to work unsupervised.
  • Customer Focus.
  • Literate in computer technology.
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures, and countries.
