Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Door Attendant to join our team at Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests upon arrival, loading and unloading luggage, and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's entrance and car park area.
This role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities- Loading cars for departing guests and ensuring a polite manner and courteous farewell
- Unloading luggage from cars for arriving guests, following health and safety manual handling guidelines
- Directing and escorting guests to reception announcing them by name
- Ensuring that the hotel's driveway and main entrance and car-park are clean and free of traffic at all times
- Liaising with the valet parking attendant on arriving and departing guest vehicles
- Assisting with moving of guest vehicles to the entrance of the car-park if required
- Providing red carpet service for VIPs and Weddings
- Calling for a taxi for the guest upon request
- Offering various information to guests regarding hotel services, facilities as well as general information
- Reporting any incidents, complaints, suspicious persons or safety hazards immediately
- UK driving license and experience with driving luxury vehicles
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized service to discerning guests
- Familiarity with luggage handling procedures and proper lifting techniques
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
