We are seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to lead our team as a Ward Manager. As a Ward Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ward and providing a safe, caring, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients with acute mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create a safe, caring, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to patients with mental health conditions, utilizing individualized treatment care plans.
- Implement and monitor care plans and treatment protocols in coordination with the locality community and crisis/home treatment teams.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to staff members to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and a well-coordinated admission and discharge pathway.
- Uphold regulatory compliance and adhere to quality standards to provide a high-quality, safe, and secure environment for both patients and staff.
- Nurse qualification - Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), with a valid UK NMC Pin.
- Minimum 1 year experience within a Ward Manager position.
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of mental health conditions and their treatment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace.
