Currys is seeking a Digital Product Owner to play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving our product vision and strategy across key business initiatives.

As part of a dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments, including eCommerce, Trading, Services, Analytics, and Optimisation, to drive customer-centric solutions that enhance the online shopping experience.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Partnering with the Principal Product Manager and Senior Product Owner to define the mobile strategy and vision.
  • Creating and maintaining a comprehensive product backlog, including Epics/Stories and priority assignments.
  • Mapping customer buying journeys and colleague selling journeys against the overarching product strategy.
  • Collaborating with Commercial, Trading, Services, Analytics, and Optimisation teams to identify growth opportunities while mitigating potential risks.
  • Working closely with Retail, Customer Insight, UX/UI, and Optimisations teams to refine and optimise customer buying journeys and colleague selling journeys.
  • Ensuring compliance through design by partnering with InfoSec, Business Standards, and Compliance Teams.
  • Collaborating with technical testing teams and business users to ensure thorough testing of new features and enhancements before deployment.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to support the realisation of commercial objectives, enhance customer satisfaction, and streamline processes.

We are looking for an individual who possesses:

  • Experience working within an agile development team environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to support hypothesis creation through data analysis and insights.
  • Experience in a test-and-learn environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of key online trading metrics and commercial profit drivers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of customer shopping behaviours, motivations, and expected service levels to contribute to exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in ambiguous situations.
  • Mobile and/or online experience is highly desirable.
