Currys plc is seeking a driven and experienced Digital Product Owner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our online customer experience.

As a key member of our product development team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments, including eCommerce, Commercial, Trading, and Customer Insight. Your primary focus will be on defining and executing the mobile strategy for our platform, ensuring it aligns with our overall business objectives and delivers exceptional value to our customers.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Work in tandem with the Principal Product Manager and Senior Product Owner to establish a comprehensive mobile product vision and roadmap.
  • Manage and maintain the product backlog, meticulously crafting Epics and Stories while prioritizing features based on strategic importance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map out customer buying journeys and colleague selling journeys, ensuring seamless integration with our product strategy.
  • Leverage data and insights to identify growth opportunities, mitigate potential risks, and optimize the performance of our online platform.
  • Partner with UX/UI designers and optimization specialists to refine and enhance customer experiences, creating intuitive and engaging interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards by collaborating with relevant teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with technical testing teams to guarantee rigorous testing of new features and enhancements before deployment.
Your Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working within an agile development environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to utilize data and insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Experience in a test-and-learn environment, embracing experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of eCommerce metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of customer behavior, motivations, and expectations in the digital realm.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a knack for navigating ambiguity.
